YOGA FOR GOOD
What is it?
Yoga for Good is my commitment to making yoga more accessible and impactful beyond traditional class settings. Each quarter, I volunteer my time and offerings to nonprofits, community groups, and organizations in need—whether that’s donating a private session for a silent auction, leading a restorative class for overworked staff, or creating space for healing through movement. If your organization could benefit from yoga, or if you know a cause that aligns with this mission, I’d love to hear from you. Together, we can bring the power of mindful movement to those who need it most.
Who It's For?
Nonprofits, schools, healthcare teams, frontline workers, caregivers, community shelters, or any group doing meaningful, often emotionally demanding work. If you’re supporting others, this is a chance for someone to support you.
How to Book
Interested in bringing Yoga for Good to your organization? Just submit the contact form below. Be sure to mention that you work for a company or nonprofit, and share how you envision yoga being used—whether it’s a silent auction item, a free class for staff, or another meaningful way to serve your community. Maile will be in touch to coordinate details and see if it’s a good fit for this quarter’s offering!
What's the Cost?
Nothing. This is a free initiative I offer as a way to give back to the community that supports me. It’s one small way I can use my skills to uplift others—and help spread the benefits of yoga to people and spaces that might not otherwise have access.
Whats Provided?
I bring everything needed to create a supportive and welcoming yoga experience up to 10 people. That can include yoga mats, props (like blocks and straps), music, and a thoughtfully tailored class to suit your group’s unique needs—whether it's gentle and restorative, energizing and uplifting, or somewhere in between. Sessions can be held on-site at your organization or virtually, depending on what works best for your team or event.
Why it Matters
Giving back through yoga isn’t just a kind gesture—it’s deeply woven into the roots of yoga itself. The Yoga Sutras speak to seva (selfless service) and the ethical foundations of yoga, including ahimsa (non-harming), satya (truth), and aparigraha (non-possessiveness). Offering yoga freely to those who may not otherwise have access honors these teachings by recognizing our shared humanity and supporting collective well-being. Yoga for Good is one way I practice yoga off the mat—by using this work to uplift, restore, and care for the community in meaningful ways.
